Haze & Air Quality Guidelines

At Sports Schooling, the welfare and safety of our students and coaches remain our highest priority.

During periods of haze or deteriorating air quality, Sports Schooling will closely monitor the 1-hour PM2.5 reading and use this as the basis for determining whether classes proceed as normal, proceed with modifications, or are cancelled.

Please refer to the table and guidelines on the right for the applicable PM2.5 readings and the corresponding class arrangements.

Students with Existing Conditions

We recognise that individuals may respond differently to haze and changes in air quality. If your child has an existing or long-term health condition that may be adversely affected by haze, please reach out directly to our Customer Service (CS) team so that we can understand the situation and provide appropriate support.

Where necessary, supporting medical documentation may be requested to help us assess the situation and determine the appropriate arrangements. Parents are encouraged to inform us as early as possible rather than waiting for air quality levels to deteriorate.

Our Commitment

Haze conditions can change quickly. Sports Schooling will continue to monitor the 1-hour PM2.5 reading and make decisions based on the prevailing reading and our established protocol.

We will do our best to balance the continuity of our programmes with the health, welfare and safety of our students and coaches.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work together to keep everyone safe.
