Whether you’re looking to improve your fitness, build strength, or simply enjoy exercising in a supportive environment, our Aqua Aerobics and Aqua Tabata classes offer an energising workout suitable for adults of all fitness levels.

With the natural resistance of water, you’ll enjoy an effective full-body workout that’s gentle on your joints while improving cardiovascular fitness, strength, endurance, and overall wellbeing. Join our experienced instructors and experience a motivating community where fitness meets fun!

Aqua Aerobics

A water-based fitness class combining cardio and strength training. Enjoy jogging, kicking and jumping movements in waist-deep water. The water’s natural resistance strengthens muscles while protecting your joints.

Aqua Tabata

A high-intensity interval workout using 20 seconds of maximum effort followed by 10 seconds of rest. Burn calories, improve endurance and enjoy a challenging workout with low joint impact.

Programme Fee & Details 

$130.80/ month (inclusive of GST)
Jalan Kayu residents: $109 / month (inclusive of GST)
  • Fee based on 4 sessions per month
  • Recommended Age: Adults aged 20 years and above
  • Prerequisite: Participants should possess basic water confidence.
  • Maximum Capacity: 20 participants per session.
  • Programme Fee: Includes the use of all required exercise equipment during the class.

Aqua Fitness & Tabata Coach

Ridwan Awang Chik is a certified Aqua Fitness Instructor with over 20 years of experience in the health, fitness, and aquatics industry. He has been conducting aqua fitness programmes since 2017 and is certified in both Aqua Fitness and Aqua Tabata, bringing energy, expertise, and motivation to every class.

Passionate about helping adults achieve their fitness goals in a safe and enjoyable environment, Ridwan designs sessions that are suitable for all fitness levels, from beginners looking to improve their health to active individuals seeking a challenging water workout. His classes focus on improving cardiovascular fitness, strength, endurance, and overall wellbeing while making every session engaging and fun.

Programme Terms & Conditions

  1. All programme fees paid are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
  2. All programmes are subject to a minimum enrolment requirement. A programme will only commence once the minimum number of participants has been met. Participants will be notified of the programme confirmation and commencement date at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled start date. If the minimum enrolment is not achieved, Sports Schooling reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel the programme, and participants will be offered an alternative programme or a full refund where applicable.
  3. There will be no wet weather replacement or make-up classes, as sessions are conducted in the pool unless otherwise advised by the organiser.
  4. Lessons missed by participants will be forfeited regardless of the reason, including medical, personal, or work commitments.
  5. Participants who are unable to attend their scheduled session may request to join another session only if vacancies are available.
  6. Advance notification and prior booking are required for any replacement session request.
  7. Sports Schooling reserves the right to amend the programme schedule, instructors, or venue where necessary.
  8. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate in the programme and should consult a healthcare professional if unsure.
